Italy coach Marcello Lippi believes it would be a wise move to vaccinate players against swine flu ahead of the upcoming World Cup, according to Goal.com.
Lippi has admitted that he is consulting the Azzurri medical team over getting La Nazionale immunised.
"We have spoken to Professor Castellacci and we evaluated the situation, not because of the dangers of the flu, but because it`s very contagious," he told the press, according to La Repubblica.
"It`s possible that we take steps to vaccinate all of the players."
Italy clash with Ireland in a World Cup qualifier next month in Dublin. A draw will see the team begin the real journey to South Africa.
