Having finished second in their qualifying group, Ukraine feel confident of progression going into their double-header against Greece, according to Goal.com.
Ukraine have been paired with Greece in the World Cup play-offs, and their head coach, Alexei Mikhailichenko, is satisfied with the draw.
His side were beaten by England in the race for automatic qualification for South Africa, but the Ukrainians managed to stay ahead of Croatia in order to qualify for the play-offs.
"I think it was a good draw but we`ll know for sure after the matches. If we win, that will mean that it was a good draw after all. Greece are very strong at home because their fans are amazing," Mikhailichenko told FIFA.com.
"We need to prepare hard because if we make the slightest mistake it could be fatal. We have a young team and we take a lot of inspiration from our magnificent performance of four years ago."
Ukraine impressed during the 2006 World Cup, making it to the quarter finals in Germany.
