"We are immensely proud. It is a real opportunity to showcase the city of Derby and what a fantastic venue Pride Park Stadium is to the whole world."

Former Manchester City star Robinho will be just one of several players familiar to followers of the Premier League.

Chelsea duo Ramires and Alex, along with Tottenham`s Sandro and Liverpool`s Lucas, have also been named in the Brazil squad.

Both teams would most likely train at the club`s Moor Farm facilities in the build-up to the game.

Pride Park last hosted a senior international fixture when England played Mexico in 2001, prior to the completion of Wembley.
