It was from Abu Dhabi to Derby for Brazil but with much the same effect, as the Selecao eased to a 2-0 victory despite Ukraine firing some warning shots at the South Americans, according to Goal.com.

Another fine finish from Dani Alves in the first-half and a typically clinical finish from Alexandre Pato was enough for Brazil to keep coach Mano Menezes` 100% record unscathed.

Anatoli Tymoshchuk earned his 100th cap to equal the record set by the injured Andriy Shevchenko last Friday, but it was his midfield colleague Aleksandr Aliev who carved the only chances for a slightly predictable Ukraine side.

Brazil started brightly, trying to force the early tempo seeing much of the ball, but the Ukrainians were well organised and when broke down were willing to commit a foul to stop the South Americans.

Early tempers almost flaired when David Luiz and Atrem Milevsky tussled just inside the Brazil half but the referee overlooked any malice from either.

Dani Alves came closest to breaking the deadlock in the opening five minutes. Tymoshchuk conceded a free-kick outside the box and Dani Alves stepped up with confidence after his stunning set-piece against Iran, however the full-back this time guided his shot just past the top right corner.

The game was concentrated well into the Ukrainian half and it allowed Dani Alves once more to break forward, overlapping Carlos Eduardo but the Barcelona defender floated a cross-come-shot over `keeper Andriy Dikan and over the bar.

Aleksandr Aliev has scored seven times this season from dead-ball situations for Lokomotiv Moscow and forced Victor in the Brazil goal to make an unconvential save from his 30 yard shot on the single occassion the Eastern Europeans threatened in the first quarter of an hour.

Stand in captain Tymoshchuk`s aggressive approach saw him go into the book for a high and rash tackle on Andre Santos. Shortly after Chelsea`s Ramires also saw yellow for a nasty late tackle.

David Luiz had arguably had the best chance of the first half as Thiago Silva headed a deep corner to the Benfica star, who blazed his spinning half-volley over the bar from close range.

Just one minute later it was Dani Alves for the second consecutive match who set the samba stars dancing. Robinho began the move in midfield and picked out a deep curling cross for the late arriving full-back, who volleyed in off the left post from a tight angle. His shot was helped by a deflection to take it goalwards.

Ukraine struggled badly to get themselves back in the game, failing to supply and support Dynamo Kiev striker Milevsky, who was closely watched by both David Luiz and Thiago Silva.

Brazil looked like they were going to all but seal the game just after the half hour mark as a terrible back pass from Tymoshchuk was quickly pounced upon by Pato. The Milan striker turned his marker inside out before smacking the post, and somehow Carlos Eduardo guided the rebound over the vacant goal.

Ramires could consider himself lucky not to be shown a second yellow for what looked like a stamp on Artem Fedetskiy with seven minutes of the first half remaining.

Ukraine thought they have levelled the scores with two minutes remaining of the first half. Aleksandr Aliev had the ball in the net but Milevsky was penalised for shouldering a defender out to allow the ball to roll into the centre of the box.

Brazil started in an upbeat fashion once more at the interval but it was Ukraine who came closest. A poor pass from substitute Adriano allowed the men in blue to break and when the ball was laid off to the edge of the box, Ruslan Rotan`s deflected shot struck the post with Victor beaten.

Brazil remained in positive mood as Carlos Eduardo got a glimpse of goal but fired his missiled shot just over the Spartak Moscow `keeper`s crossbar.

A long spell of pressure for the Selecao, lasting a good five minutes deep in the Ukraine half, was almost undone by a quick counter down the left, but the final ball found Milevsky offside in the middle of the box.

A second goal for Brazil just after the hour mark however broke the will of Ukraine. A pin-point low cross from the right by Carlos Eduardo was cleverly controlled by Pato, who turned and blasted his shot through Dikan.

Both teams continued in search of goals as changes intervened with the flow of the game. Chances were restricted to set-pieces, Aliev again bending an effort just wide of the post for Ukraine and Dani Alves for Brazil unable to get the ball to drop quickly enough.

Nilmar almost capped the game with a goal on the break in stoppage time. If the Villarreal man hadn`t been denied by Dikan in the Ukraine goal it would have been the exact same three scorers in two consecutive games, however it remained 2-0 and Brazil continued their winning streak.
