Shakhtar caught up with Dynamo

In the central match of the 26th round of Ukrainian Premier League Shakhtar beat Dynamo at Donbas Arena - 2:0. Both goals were scored after a break, when Dynamo was already playing without Denys Garmash, who was shown a red card at the end of the first half. Alex Teixeira opened the score and Yaroslav Rakytskiy doubled it, according to FFU inform-service.

High-principled match between Shakhtar and Dynamo was very nervous with a lot of fouls, simulations and yellow cards. Before the break Denys Garmash was shown a second yellow card. At the same time the coach of Kyiv team Yuriy Siomin was dismissed.

In such situation miners managed to open the score. On the 55th minute Alex Teixeira was the first one on the ball, which leaped away off the crossbar − 1:0. Ten minutes before the end of the match Yaroslav Rakytskiy headed the second one. So, Shakhtar caught up with a leader Dynamo and now both teams have 67 points.

The same score was fixed in another match, in which Metalurh Donetsk defeated Karpaty in Lviv and Zoria in Odesa beat local Chornomorets − 3:2. On Friday two more matches of the 26th round were played. Volyn and Vorskla didn’t manage to score at least one goal (0:0) and Arsenal celebrated victory in a duel with Obolon (4:1).

On Sunday Tavriya got three points in Mariupol thanks to the goals of Fanendo Adi and Anton Shynder after a break. Kryvbas was beaten by Oleksandriya − 1:2.
