Tickets to the matches of the final part of the 2012 European Football Championship will be available for sale until the very beginning of each match, the director of the Euro-2012 Ukraine Local Organizing Committee, Markiyan Lubkivskyi, has said at a press conference in Kyiv, according to Information Centre Ukraine-2012.
According to him, some 12,000 tickets are presently available for sale, and they may be purchased with the help of the official ticket portal on the UEFA website or in ticket offices of the Metalist and Donbass Arena stadiums, the same way as in Ukrsotsbank (UniCredit Group) branches.
It is also possible to purchase entry permits to the tournament matches to seats with limited visibility for half the price. Around 10,000 tickets of this kind have been envisaged. “Tickets for such seats are available at each stadium, both due to peculiarities of the arena and UEFA information boards. These are mainly third-category entry permits,” LOC chief explained. He has added that, in line with UEFA regulations, visibility to a football player’s knee is allowed.
