<p>The European Commission approved the proposal to extend European energy legislation to the Nord Stream-2 gas pipeline project, through which Russia plans to transport gas bypassing Ukraine along the bottom of the Baltic Sea, while the Commission reiterated EU’s continued support for the transit of gas via the territory of Ukraine, Deputy Foreign Minister Olena Zerkal wrote on Facebook, referring to a report published by the EC.</p>
