Russia's hybrid military forces lobbed at least fifteen 120mm and 82mm mortar shells into civilian areas in the village of Luhanske in Donbas in the evening, as a result of which one Ukrainian soldier was wounded.

"Since the attack occurred after dark, the scale of the damage is being assessed. Members of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are currently examining whether there are destructions of buildings and civilian casualties," the press center of the headquarters of Ukraine's military operations reported on Facebook on Wednesday morning.

Here, the Russian occupation forces had been firing mortars of various calibers, grenade launchers, anti-aircraft guns and heavy machine guns at our positions near the town of Svitlodarsk for more than four hours. They launched over 200 shells of different calibers. In addition, the invaders used mortars near the villages of Luhanske and Troyitske, as well as 82mm mortars and grenade launchers not far from the village of Novo-Oleksandrivka," the report says.

No ceasefire violations have been recorded in the Donetsk sector.
