U.S. urges Russia to instruct its fighters in Donbas to end intimidation of OSCE monitors

Spokesperson for the U.S. Department Heather Nauert has called on Russian Defense Ministry to instruct the fighters it controls in eastern Ukraine to end violent intimidation of the OSCE SMM international monitors.

"MoD Russia: Please instruct the fighters you control in eastern Ukraine to end violent intimidation of OSCE SMM international monitors," she wrote on Twitter on March 8, 2018.

As UNIAN reported earlier, on March 5, the OSCE monitors saw a man kneel down and point his rifle at their patrol vehicle.
