One Ukrainian soldier was killed and another two were wounded in action in Donbas, eastern Ukraine, on Sunday, March 11.

"The Russian occupation forces continue shelling the Ukrainian army's positions, violating the agreed ceasefire. Since the beginning of the day, there have been three attacks on Ukrainian defenders' positions," the press center of the headquarters of Ukraine's military operations said in an evening update on Facebook on March 11.

In particular, the enemy used grenade launchers and large-caliber machine guns to fire at Ukrainian strongholds near the villages of Troyitske, Luhanske and Novozvanivka in the Luhansk sector. One Ukrainian soldier was wounded in an attack on Novozvanivka.

Despite the truce observed in the Donetsk sector, one Ukrainian soldier was killed in a landmine blast amid a combat-related task to relocate property. Another soldier received a shrapnel wound during mine clearance.

Both wounded soldiers were immediately hospitalized and received necessary medical assistance.

As UNIAN reported earlier, one Ukrainian soldier was wounded on March 10. Five enemy attacks were recorded on that day.
