Russia's hybrid military forces attacked Ukrainian army positions in Donbas 38 times in the past 24 hours in defiance of an earlier announced ceasefire.

"In the Luhansk sector, the enemy fired 120mm mortars, grenade launchers and heavy machine guns at the Ukrainian fortified positions near the village of Luhanske. In addition, the aggressor used 82mm mortars against the defenders of the village of Troyitske, while small arms were used near the village of Stanytsia Luhanska," the press center of the headquarters of Ukraine's military operations reported on Facebook on Monday morning.

The defenders of Avdiyivka, Butivka mine, and the villages of Starohnativka, Pavlopil and Vodiane came under fire from grenade launchers of various types. The enemy also employed heavy machine guns near the villages of Kamianka, Hnutove, Vodiane, and Opytne. A sniper was active near Pavlopil.

Furthermore, the Russian occupation forces fired small arms at the Ukrainian fortified positions near Avdiyivka, and the villages of Talakivka, Verkhniotoretske and Vodiane.

No Ukrainian soldiers were killed or wounded in action. The situation along the entire contact line remains under control of the Ukrainian army, the report said.
