Russia's hybrid military forces attacked Ukrainian army positions in Donbas 38 times in the past 24 hours.

"In the Donetsk sector, the aggressor used proscribed 120mm and 82mm mortars, as well as grenade launchers of various systems to attack Ukrainian fortified positions near the village of Pisky and Butivka coal mine. The enemy resorted to 82mm mortars near the village of Novotroyitske, while positions near the village of Kamianka were attacked by a tank," the press center of the headquarters of Ukraine's military operations reported on Facebook Thursday morning.

Grenade launchers were used to attack the defenders of the towns of Avdiyivka and Maryinka, and the villages of Talakivka, Vodiane and Pyshchevyk, while heavy machine guns were used to fire at the defenders of the villages of Kamianka, Hnutove, Opytne, Vodiane, Pisky, Novotroyitske and Pavlopil. Moreover, the defenders of the villages of Hnutove, Pisky, Nevelske and Pyshchevyk were attacked by infantry fighting vehicles, the report says.

In addition, the enemy used small arms to shoot at the Ukrainian positions near Avdiyivka, and the villages of Lebedynske, Kamianka, Talakivka, Vodiane and Hnutove, and Butivka mine. Furthermore, a sniper was active near Maryinka.

In the Luhansk sector, the Russian occupation forces opened fire from 120mm mortars at the Ukrainian fortified positions near the village of Troyitske, as well as small arms were used to shoot at the defenders of the village of Stanytsia Luhanska.

No Ukrainian soldiers were killed or wounded in action, the report said.
