Ukraine reports 1 KIA, 3 WIAs in Donbas amid 45 enemy attacks in last day
Russia's hybrid military forces attacked Ukrainian army positions in Donbas 45 times in the past 24 hours, with one Ukrainian soldier reported as killed in action (KIA) and another three as wounded in action (WIA).
"In the Luhansk sector, the enemy fired proscribed 152mm artillery systems, small arms and sniper weapons at our fortified positions near the village of Zaitseve. In addition, the occupiers used 120mm mortars against the defenders of the village of Troyitske, 82mm mortars and grenade launchers near the village of Novo-Oleksandrivka, and heavy machine guns against the defenders of the village of Luhanske," the press center of the headquarters of Ukraine's military operations reported on Facebook Wednesday morning.

Infantry fighting vehicles were used in the attack on Ukrainian troops near Vodiane and Pavlopil, heavy machine guns -- near the villages of Opytne and Lebedynske, and small arms -- near the villages of Shyrokyne and Nevelske.
