Russia's hybrid military forces mounted 38 attacks on Ukrainian army positions in Donbas in the past 24 hours, with two Ukrainian soldiers reported as wounded in action (WIA).

"The situation was most tense near the villages of Krymske, Troyitske, Zaitseve, Hranitne, Opytne and Pavlopil, and Butivka coal mine," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation (JFO) said in an update on Facebook as of 07:00 Kyiv time on May 24, 2018.

According to intelligence data, two occupiers were killed and three others were wounded.

"The Russian occupation troops once again violated the ceasefire near the village of Stanytsia Luhanska, so that no withdrawal of troops could take place in this area in accordance with the previously reached agreements," the press center said.

No casualties are reported among the Ukrainian military since the beginning of the day.
