JFO: Ukraine reports 2 WIA's amid 22 enemy attacks
Russia's hybrid military forces mounted 22 attacks on Ukrainian army positions in Donbas in the past 24 hours, with two Ukrainian soldiers reported as wounded in action (WIA).
"In the Horlivka sector, hostilities continued near the town of Svitlodarsk, and the villages of Zaitseve and Novhorodske, as well as near Butivka coal mine, and the towns of Krasnohorivka and Maryinka, which are in the Donetsk sector," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation (JFO) said in an update on Facebook as of 07:00 Kyiv time on May 28, 2018.
The situation escalated in the Mariupol sector. In particular, near the villages of Pavlopil, Vodiane and Shyrokyne.
"Yesterday, at about 19:00, the enemy suffered losses during a short firefight near Pavlopil. According to the updated data, three occupiers were killed and three others were wounded. At the same time, the fate of one JFO soldier is still unknown. The circumstances of his disappearance are being clarified, measures are being taken to find him," the report says.
