JFO chief urges world to help Ukraine retake eastern border with Russia
Commander of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation (JFO) Serhiy Nayev has called on world leaders to help Ukraine retake uncontrolled sections of the state border with Russia in Luhansk and Donetsk regions.
Nayev announced such an appeal during a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Ukraine Isabelle Dumont during her trip to Donbas, the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation said on Facebook.
It is noted that during the conversation with the participation of Deputy Chairman of Luhansk Regional State Administration Yuriy Klymenko, the parties discussed a number of security issues in the east of Ukraine.
Nayev thanked the French ambassador for her support and solidarity with the people of Ukraine in the fight against the Russian aggressor. He noted that the main help of world leaders for Ukraine could be their assistance in the speedy transfer of the sections of the state border in Luhansk and Donetsk regions to the authorities of Ukraine.
