Over the past day, June 5, Russian proxy forces in eastern Ukraine violated the ceasefire 31 times. Three Ukrainian soldiers were wounded in enemy attacks.

The situation remained tense in the vicinity of Prichepylivka, Krymske, and Novotoshkivske on the Luhansk line, as well as Opytne and Novotroitske on the Donetsk line, where Russian-occupation troops employed 11 times 120mm and 82mm mortars, proscribed by the Minsk accords, according to the press service of the Joint Forces Operation HQ.

Ongoing hostilities involving automatic weapons are reported outside Lebedynske and Shyrokyne near the strategic port city of Mariupol.

Also, the JFO reported on the shooting down of an enemy drone.

"The invaders stepped up their aerial recon efforts with the use of UAVs. On the morning of June 5, electronic warfare units of our Joint Forces spotted and identified an air target which appeared to be the Russian-made Orlan-10 UAV. On-duty units of anti-aircraft missile forces destroyed the target on its approach to the area of interest for the enemy," reads the statement.

In the past day's fighting, three Ukrainian servicemen were wounded and evacuated to a hospital. According to Ukraine's intelligence, two militants were exterminated and another four – wounded.

As UNIAN reported earlier, residents of Pivdenne, recently liberated by Joint Forces, are terrified by constant shellings and reluctant to stay in their homes. Militants intentionally aim their incendiary shells at residential areas, burning out the area, aiming to causing panic and fear.
