JFO: Ukraine reports 2 KIA's, 2 WIA's amid 25 enemy attacks in past day
Russia's hybrid military forces mounted 25 attacks on Ukrainian army positions in Donbas in the past 24 hours, with two Ukrainian soldiers reported as killed in action (KIA) and another two as wounded in action (WIA).
"The Russian occupation forces were active near the town of Maryinka, and the villages of Krymske, Novozvanivka, Opytne, Vodiane and Shyrokyne at night," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation (JFO) said in an update on Facebook as of 07:00 Kyiv time on June 7, 2018.
According to intelligence reports, the enemy also suffered losses: five soldiers were killed and another three were wounded.
"There was escalation in Luhansk region this night – the invaders opened fire five times from 120mm and 82mm mortars near the villages of Krymske and Novotoshkivske. The situation is under the Joints Forces' control. No casualties among our troops have been reported since the beginning of the day," the press center said.
