Over the past day, June 10, the situation in the area of the Joint Forces Operation remained under control of government troops. The enemy once again, in violation of Minsk accords, tried to weaken defenses of Ukrainian units in certain areas of the zone of hostilities.

Russian-occupation forces violated the cease-fire regime 32 times, including seven times – with the use of 120mm and 82mm mortars, the Joint Forces Operation press center reported on Facebook.

In Luhansk region, the most intense hostilities were reported in the area of the village of Novotoshkivske. In the Donetsk direction, units of the Joint Forces continued active defense measures in the area of the village of Opytne. The enemy also saw an adequate response by Ukraine troops in the Mariupol direction - near the settlements of Pavlopil, Vodiane and Lebedynske.

Three Ukrainian defenders were wounded in action and immediately evacuated to the hospital. Their lives are not threatened.

"As a result of active defense measures, according to our intelligence, one invader was exterminated and another three - wounded," the report said.

Overnight Monday, in the area of Novotoshkivske, the enemy employed 122 mm artillery systems, banned by international agreements, exposing to danger civilians in the nearest settlements.

As the volunteer Yuriy Mysiahin informed, the Ukrainian military advanced up to 1 km, gaining new positions in the area of Novotoshkivske, Luhansk region.
