Russia's hybrid military forces mounted 24 attacks on Ukrainian army positions in Donbas in the past 24 hours, with one Ukrainian soldier reported as wounded in action (WIA).

"According to intelligence reports, two occupiers were killed and another three wounded," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation (JFO) said in an update on Facebook as of 07:00 Kyiv time on June 26, 2018.

In the Luhansk sector, the enemy employed 120mm mortars, grenade launchers and small arms near the village of Krymske. In addition, enemy activity was recorded near the village of Luhanske and the town of Zolote.

In the Donetsk sector, the enemy used 82mm mortars, grenade launchers and small arms against the defenders of the town of Avdiyivka and the village of Kruta Balka. The defenders of the town of Maryinka, and the villages of Kamianka and Verkhniotoretske also came under enemy aimed fire.

In the Mariupol sector, the Russian-backed mercenaries used grenade launchers of various types, heavy machine guns and small arms. The enemy shelled the positions of the Joint Forces near the villages of Lebedynske, Hnutove, Shyrokyne, Pavlopil and Starohnativka.

"Since day-start, militants of the Russian occupation forces have opened fire on our defenders twice. In the Luhansk sector, the enemy fired grenade launchers of various types, heavy machine guns and small arms at the Ukrainian positions near Zolote, as well as hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers and small arms near Lebedynske in the Mariupol sector.
