The OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) to Ukraine has reported that its monitors recorded 215 explosions in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, the country's east, within 24 hours.

"In Donetsk region, the SMM recorded fewer ceasefire violations, including about 190 explosions, compared with the previous 24 hours (about 280 explosions)," it said in an update based on information received as of 19:30 local time on June 25, 2018.

In particular, violations of the ceasefire in Donbas were recorded near Donetsk Filtration Station (15km north of Donetsk), the towns of Avdiyivka (government-controlled, 17km north of Donetsk), Yasynuvata (non-government-controlled, 16km north-east of Donetsk), Horlivka (non-government-controlled, 39km north-east of Donetsk), Svitlodarsk (government-controlled, 57km north-east of Donetsk), and Maiorsk (government-controlled, 45km north-east of Donetsk).

"In Luhansk region, the SMM recorded fewer ceasefire violations, including about 25 explosions, compared with the previous 24 hours (about 100 explosions)," the update said.
