Russia's hybrid military forces mounted 23 attacks on Ukrainian army positions in Donbas in the past 24 hours, with one Ukrainian soldier reported as wounded in action.
"According to intelligence reports, one militant of the Russian occupation forces was killed," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation (JFO) said in an update on Facebook as of 07:00 Kyiv time on July 10, 2018.
The situation was calm in the Luhansk sector over the last day.
Enemy attacks were not as intense in the Popasna and Svitlodarsk sectors. The Ukrainian positions near the town of Svitlodarsk and the villages of Novozvanivka and Novoluhanske came under fire from automatic grenade launchers and heavy machine guns.

In the Donetsk sector, the enemy opened fire from infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms seven times at the Ukrainian positions in the town of Avdiyivka, and the villages of Nevelske, Novotroyitske, Pisky and Opytne.
The situation was most tense in the Mariupol sector on July 9. The enemy opened fire from infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers and small arms 12 times at the Ukrainian positions near the villages of Vodiane, Lebedynske and Shyrokyne. A Ukrainian soldier was wounded in the area.
