Russia's hybrid military forces mounted 19 attacks on Ukrainian army positions in Donbas in the past 24 hours, with one Ukrainian soldier reported as wounded in action (WIA).

"According to intelligence reports, two occupiers were wounded," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation said in an update on Facebook as of 07:00 Kyiv time on July 17, 2018.
It is reported the Russian occupation forces were active in certain areas, shelling the defenders of the towns of Svitlodarsk, Avdiyivka, Maryinka and Krasnohorivka, and the villages of Krymske, Nevelske, Opytne, Vodiane, Hnutove, Lebedynske and Shyrokyne. At the same time, the enemy used an 82mm mortar near Hnutove, having launched three shells toward the Ukrainian troops. By its active actions, the enemy tried to force the Joint Forces to fire back.
