Donbas update: 3 Ukrainian troops wounded in enemy shelling
In the past day, July 20, Donbas militants opened fire 29 times at positions of Joint Forces, including one time using weapons proscribed by the Minsk accords, JF HQ reports.
As a result of enemy attacks, three Ukrainian soldiers were wounded in action.
"Russian occupation forces fired on the defenders of Troyitske, Luhanske, Novoluhanske, Svitlodarsk, Avdiyivka, Krasnohorivka, Berezova, Maryinka, Novomykhailivka, Bohdanivka, Lebedynske, Pavlopil , Talakivka, Hnutove, Shyrokyne and Vodiane. In addition, the enemy in the area of Hnutove used a 120-mm mortar, while the defenders of Pavlopil were fired upon by anti-tank guided missiles," the report reads.
"According to our intelligence, one invader was killed and one more was injured," the Joint Forces press center says.
Since midnight, the militants opened fire three times on the positions of Ukrainian defenders near Krymske, Prychepylivka, and Avdiyivka. Shellings brought no casualties among JF troops.
As UNIAN reported, on July 20, Russian occupation forces attacked a detachment of Ukrainian border guards near Mariupol with an anti-tank guided missile.
