On August 25, Russian-occupation forces shelled Ukrainian positions in Donbas 33 times, including seven times from weapons banned by the Minsk agreements, says the morning report of the Joint Forces Operation HQ.

The enemy led aimed fire from 120mm and 82mm mortars, weapons installed on infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers, heavy machine guns, and small arms.

The enemy fired at the JF positions near Krymske, Zolote, Luhanske, Zaitseve, Yuzhne, Shumy, Zalizne, Avdiyivka, Maryinka, Novomykhailivka, Novotroyitske, Hranitne, Chermalyk, Hnutove, Pavlopil, Lebedynske, Vodiane, and Shyrokyne.

On the Luhansk line, militants employed mortars near Krymske, as well as near Luhanske on the Svitlodarsk line, near Zaitseve and Yuzhne on the Horlivka line, and near Avdiyivka in the Donetsk direction.

The Joint Forces repelled enemy attacks and held their ground.

In the past day, no casualties were reported among Ukrainian defenders.

At the same time, according to Ukraine's military intelligence, in the past 24 hours a militant was killed in action and another three were wounded.

As reported, law enforcers in the Donetsk region issued suspicion notices against four suspected militants detained earlier.
