Russia's hybrid military forces mounted 23 attacks on Ukrainian army positions in Donbas in the past 24 hours, as a result of which four Ukrainian soldiers were wounded in action.
"Two defenders of Ukraine were wounded in action amid shelling, another two members of the Joint Forces received combat-related injuries," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation (JFO) said in an update on Facebook as of 07:00 Kyiv time on August 27, 2018.

What is more, two servicemen were injured yesterday while stepping on a booby trap. In addition, another two soldiers were killed and another one was injured by personal negligence as a result of triggering an explosive device.
"According to intelligence reports, three occupiers were killed and another seven were wounded," reads the report.
Russian occupation forces opened aimed fire from grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms to attack the defenders of the villages of Krymske, Novotoshkivske, Troyitske, Pivdenne, Novotroyitske, Hnutove, Lebedynske, Vodiane and Shyrokyne. In certain areas, enemy infantry fighting vehicles attacked Ukrainian positions.
The occupation forces also shelled the Ukrainian positions outside Krymske, Novotoshkivske, Troyitske, Hnutove and Vodiane, using proscribed 82mm and 120mm mortars, and artillery systems. Ukraine's Joint Forces had to fire back to suppress the enemy's fire activity amid escalation.
"Since Monday midnight, Russian-led forces have mounted two attacks on the Ukrainian positions outside Pavlopil and Vodiane, using grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms. No heavy weapons were engaged," the report says.
