Russia's hybrid military forces attacked Ukrainian Joint Forces' positions in Donbas 20 times in the past 24 hours, with two Ukrainian soldiers reported as wounded in action (WIA).

"Two Ukrainian soldiers were wounded in the past day. According to intelligence reports, two occupiers were killed and another two were wounded," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation (JFO) said in an update on Facebook as of 07:00 Kyiv time on September 4, 2018.

Russian occupation forces opened aimed fire from grenade launchers, heavy machine guns, and small arms on the defenders of the villages of Krymske, Myronivskiy, Zaitseve, Shumy, Opytne, Pisky, Pavlopil, Hnutove, Vodiane, and Lebedynske.

"Since Tuesday midnight, Russian-led forces have mounted six attacks on the Ukrainian positions. In the Donetsk sector, the enemy fired heavy machine guns and small arms outside the town of Krasnohorivka, as well as heavy machine guns near the villages of Hnutove, Lebedynske and Shyrokyne in the Mariupol sector. There have been no casualties among Ukrainian troops from say-start," the report says.
