Russian-led forces mounted 30 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in the past 24 hours.

"No casualties among the Ukrainian troops have been reported over the past day. According to intelligence reports, three occupiers were killed and another three were wounded," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation said in an update on Facebook as of 07:00 Kyiv time on September 17, 2018.

Russian occupation forces opened aimed fire from grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns and small arms to attack the defenders of the towns of Zolote, Svitlodarsk, Krasnohorivka, and Maryinka, and the villages of Krymske, Novotoshkivske, Novozvanivka, Novoluhanske, Opytne, Nevelske, Novotroyitske, Novohryhorivka, Starohnativka, Chermalyk, Pavlopil, Hnutove, Vodiane, Lebedynske, and Shyrokyne.

The enemy resorted to 120mm mortars to shell the Ukrainian positions near Novoluhanske, as well as 82mm mortars in Lebedynske.

In addition, the defenders of Novohryhorivka came under fire from weapons of an infantry fighting vehicle.

"Since Monday midnight, Russian-led forces have mounted one attack on the Ukrainian positions near Hnutove, using heavy machine guns and small arms. There have been no casualties among Ukrainian troops from the start of the day," reads the report.
