Russian-led forces mounted 21 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in the past 24 hours.

"No casualties among the Ukrainian troops were reported in the past day. According to intelligence reports, one enemy soldier was killed and another one was wounded," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation said in an update on Facebook as of 07:00 Kyiv time on September 18, 2018.

Russian occupation forces opened aimed fire from grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns and small arms to attack the defenders of the town of Svitlodarsk, and the villages of Krymske, Luhanske, Starohnativka, Chermalyk, Pavlopil, Hnutove, Vodiane, Lebedynske, and Shyrokyne.

The enemy also resorted to 82mm mortars to shell the Ukrainian positions near Lebedynske. In addition, the Ukrainian fortified positions near Pavlopil came under fire from 120mm mortars.

"Since Tuesday midnight, Russian-led forces have mounted three attacks on the Ukrainian positions near Lebedynske and Vodiane, using heavy machine guns and small arms. There have been no casualties among Ukrainian troops from the start of the day," reads the report.
