Russia's hybrid military forces mounted 25 attacks on Ukrainian army positions in Donbas in the past 24 hours, with two Ukrainian soldiers reported as killed in action (KIA) and another one as wounded in action (WIA).

"Two Ukrainian soldiers were killed and another one was wounded in the past day. According to intelligence reports, three occupiers were killed and another five were wounded," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation (JFO) said in an update on Facebook as of 07:00 Kyiv time on September 19, 2018.

Russian occupation forces opened aimed fire from grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns and small arms to attack the defenders of the villages of Stanytsia Luhanska, Krymske, Novotoshkivske, Luhanske, Pivdenne, Pisky, Novotroyitske, Starohnativka, Pavlopil, Hnutove, Vodiane, Lebedynske, and Shyrokyne.

The enemy also resorted to 120mm and 82mm mortars to shell the Ukrainian positions near Luhanske. In addition, the Ukrainian positions in Krymske came under fire from weapons of infantry fighting vehicles twice.

"Since Wednesday midnight, Russian-led forces have mounted three attacks on the Ukrainian positions near the villages of Troyitske, Berezove and Lebedynske, using heavy machine guns and small arms. There have been no casualties among Ukrainian troops since the start of the day," reads the report.
