Russia's hybrid military forces mounted 24 attacks on Ukrainian army positions in Donbas in the past 24 hours, with one Ukrainian soldier reported as wounded in action (WIA).

"One Ukrainian soldier was wounded in the past day. According to intelligence reports, one occupier was killed and another three were wounded," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation (JFO) said in an update on Facebook as of 07:00 Kyiv time on September 20, 2018.

Russian occupation forces opened aimed fire from grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms to attack the defenders of the towns of Svitlodarsk and Maryinka, and the villages of Krymske, Novotoshkivske, Troyitske, Luhanske, Pisky, Nevelske, Novomykhailivka, Berezove, Pavlopil, Hnutove, Vodiane, Lebedynske, and Shyrokyne.

The enemy also resorted to 82mm mortars to shell the Ukrainian positions near Krymske, Lebedynske and Vodiane. In addition, the Ukrainian fortified position near Krymske came under fire from a 120mm mortar. Moreover, a Ukrainian position near Luhanske was attacked with the use of an anti-tank missile system.

"Since Thursday midnight, Russian-led forces have mounted two attacks on the Ukrainian positions near the villages of Krymske and Chermalyk, using grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms. There have been no casualties among Ukrainian troops since the start of the day," reads the report.
