Russia's hybrid military forces mounted 32 attacks on Ukraine's Joint Forces in Donbas, eastern Ukraine, in the past day, September 29; proscribed weapons were used in six instances.

One Ukrainian soldier was wounded in action, the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) headquarters said in a morning update on Facebook on September 30.

The enemy shelled Ukrainian positions near the towns of Svitlodarsk, Avdiyivka, Krasnohorivka, and Maryinka, as well as the villages of Krymske, Novozvanivka, Luhanske, Novoluhanske, Travneve, Starohnativka, Chermalyk, Pavlopil, Hnutove, Vodiane, Lebedynske, and Shyrokyne.

Russian-led forces opened aimed fire, using grenade launchers, large-caliber machine guns and small arms. They used 120mm mortars to attack the JFO near Krymske, Svitlodarsk, Travneve and Novoluhanske. They used 82mm mortars to shell Ukrainian positions near Svitlodarsk and Vodiane. What was more, Ukrainian troops deployed outside Krymske and Vodiane came under fire from weapons of enemy infantry fighting vehicles.

According to Ukrainian intelligence reports, two enemy fighters were eliminated and another seven were wounded.

Since Sunday midnight, the enemy has attacked Ukrainian positions near Vodiane, using grenade launchers, large-caliber machine guns and small arms. Heavy weapons were not used. No Ukrainian army casualties have been reported.
