Russian-led forces mounted 21 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in the last 24 hours.

"No casualties among the Ukrainian troops have been reported over the past day. According to intelligence reports, two occupiers were killed and another two were wounded," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation said in an update on Facebook as of 07:00 Kyiv time on October 4, 2018.

Russian occupation forces opened aimed fire from grenade launchers, heavy machine guns, and small arms, attacking the Ukrainian troops defending the town of Krasnohorivka, and the villages of Krymske, Troyitske, Luhanske, Novoluhanske, Pisky, Pavlopil, Hnutove, Vodiane, and Lebedynske.

In addition, the enemy used 120mm mortars to shell the Ukrainian positions near Krymske, as well as 82mm mortars near Luhanske, Novoluhanske, Hnutove, and Lebedynske. Moreover, the defenders of Krymske came under fire from weapons installed on infantry fighting vehicles.

"Since Thursday midnight, Russian-led forces have mounted two attacks on the Ukrainian positions near Vodiane, using heavy machine guns and small arms," reads the report.
