In the past day, on October 15, the Russian occupation forces opened fire at the Ukrainian positions 37 times, as reported by the JFO HQ press service.

On nine occasions, the enemy employed weapons proscribed by Minsk accords.

"The enemy shelled our positions near Krymske, Katerynivka, Stepne, Troyitske, Luhanske, Svitlodarsk, Novoluhanske, Pivdenne, Avdiyivka, Pisky, Nevelske, Maryinka, Berezove, Starohnativka, Chermalyk, Pavlopil , Hnutove, Talakivka, Vodiane, Lebedynske, and Shyrokyne," the statement reads.

Russian occupation forces used grenade launchers and opened fire from large-caliber machine guns and small arms.

JF positions in the area of Troyitske, Novoluhanske, and Talakivka were shelled from 120mm mortars, while strongpoints near Troyitske, Luhanske, Svitlodarsk, and Hnutove – from 82mm mortars.

Defenders of Troyitske and Vodiane came under enemy fire from weapons installed on infantry fighting vehicles. A military clash was recorded in Avdiyivka.

"A soldier of the Joint Forces was killed and another three were injured in action. According to our intelligence, two militants of the Russian-occupying forces have been terminated and another six wounded in the past day," added the press service.

From day-start, militants fired from grenade launchers, large-caliber machine guns and small arms three times on the positions of the Joint Forces near the settlements of Novozavanivka, Pisky, and Pavlopil.
