Russia's hybrid military forces mounted 14 attacks on Ukrainian army positions in Donbas in the past 24 hours, with one Ukrainian soldier reported as wounded in action (WIA).
"One Ukrainian soldier was wounded in the past day. According to intelligence reports, three occupiers were killed," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation (JFO) said in an update published on Facebook as of 07:00 Kyiv time on October 25, 2018.

Russian occupation forces opened aimed fire from cannons of infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns, and small arms to attack the defenders of the town of Maryinka, and the villages of Vilniy, Katerynivka, Novoluhanske, Kamianka, Pisky, Taramchuk, Pavlopil, Hnutove, and Vodiane.
In addition, 120mm mortar shells hit Vodiane in the Mariupol sector. The enemy also resorted to 82mm mortars to shell the defenders of Pavlopil and Hnutove, while the Ukrainian positions near Pisky came under fire from grenade launchers and heavy machine guns. Moreover, the hostilities took place three times near Vilniy, which is in the Popasna sector, where the occupiers opened aimed fire from grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns and small arms. The units of the Joint Forces adequately responded.
As reported earlier, the Ukrainian army retook Vilniy on September 23.
"Since Thursday midnight, Russian-led forces have mounted three attacks on the Ukrainian positions near Hnutove, and the towns of Avdiyivka and Krasnohorivka. No heavy weapons were used. No casualties among Ukrainian troops have been reported since the start of the day," reads the report.
