Two Ukrainian soldiers were wounded in action in Donbas, eastern Ukraine, on October 31.

"Two members of the Joint Forces have been wounded in hostilities," the Joint Forces Operation's press service said on Facebook in its update as of 18:00 Kyiv time on October 31.

During the day, Russian-led forces mounted 13 attacks on Ukrainian positions, they resorted to proscribed weapons one time.

In most cases, the enemy used grenade launchers of various systems, large-caliber machine guns and small arms.

Areas near the village of Vodiane close to the Sea of Azov and the town of Zolote in Luhansk region were hot spots. In addition, Zolote came under 82mm mortar fire.

The enemy also mounted two attacks on Ukrainian troops' defensive positions near the village of Novoselivka Druha, using anti-tank grenade launchers.

What is more, Ukrainian army units stationed near the town of Avdiyivka and the villages of Pisky, Novomykhailivka, Starohnativka, Pavlopil, and Lebedynske were under fire.

Commanders of the units took drastic measures to suppress enemy fire, the press service said.
