From day-start on Sunday, Russian occupation forces violated the ceasefire in Donbas 14 times, according to the press center of the Joint Forces Operation HQ.
One Ukrainian soldier was killed in the shelling and another two were injured.
At the same time, it is noted that the Russian proxy forces eight times used weapons proscribed by the Minsk agreements.
"The enemy opened aimed fire from mortars of various calibers, weapons installed on infantry fighting vehicles, as well as grenade launchers, large-caliber machine guns, and small arms," the JFO HQ said.
Russian occupation forces fired at the positions of the Joint Forces near the settlements of Krymske, Novotoshkivske, Zolote, Avdiyivka, Pisky, Pavlopil, Hnutove, Vodiane, and Lebedynske.
“Near Khutir Svobosny, occupiers opened fire from 120mm and 82mm mortars, weapons installed on infantry fighting vehicles, as well as grenade launchers, large-caliber machine guns, and small arms. Russian invaders engaged positions of the Joint Forces outside five more settlements using 82mm mortars,” reads the report.
