Three Ukrainian soldiers wounded in Donbas in past 24 hours
Russia's hybrid military forces mounted 21 attacks on Ukrainian army positions in Donbas in the past 24 hours, with three Ukrainian soldiers reported as wounded in action.
"Three Ukrainian soldiers were wounded in the past day. According to intelligence reports, three occupiers were killed and another six were wounded," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation said in an update published on Facebook as of 07:00 Kyiv time on November 20, 2018.
The Russian occupation forces opened aimed fire from grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms to attack the defenders of the towns of Avdiyivka and Krasnohorivka. The villages of Krymske, Zholobok, Novotoshkivske, Vilniy, Luhanske, Travneve, Pisky, Opytne, Stepne, Berezove, Novomykhailivka, Novotroyitske, Chermalyk, Pavlopil, Vodiane, and Hnutove were also under attack.
What is more, the enemy employed 120mm mortars to shell Ukrainian positions near Novotoshkivske and used 82mm mortars near Krymske, Luhanske and Vodiane. The defenders of Chermalyk and Vilniy came under fire from both types of mortars.
"Since Tuesday midnight, Russian-led forces haven't attacked the Ukrainian positions yet," the report said.
