Monitors from the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine confirmed in their latest status report on Donbas that a total of 216 civilian casualties had been confirmed since the beginning of this year.

"Between 29 October and 11 November, the SMM confirmed that one civilian was killed and one was injured (and additionally confirmed that one was killed and one injured prior to the reporting period). This brings the total number of civilian casualties since 1 January to 216 (43 deaths and 173 injuries)," the report reads.

It is also noted that in the reporting period, the Mission "experienced 77 restrictions to its freedom of movement, including 54 instances in areas not controlled by the Government, with many occurring in areas close to the border with the Russian Federation."
