Military units of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation (JFO) have been put on full alert.

"By order of Commander of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation, Lieutenant-General Serhiy Nayev, military subunits and units have been placed on full alert," the JFO's press center said in a statement on November 27.

The move was caused by the latest developments in the Black-Azov seas area.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the situation in the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov escalated after Russia attacked and seized three boats of the Ukrainian Navy near the Kerch Strait on November 25. The Russian side captured 23 members of the Ukrainian Navy; six of them are reportedly wounded, while two in grave condition.
