One Ukrainian soldier wounded in Donbas on Sunday
Russia's hybrid military forces mounted 14 attacks on Ukrainian army positions in Donbas in the past 24 hours, with one Ukrainian soldier reported as wounded in action.
"One Ukrainian soldier was wounded in the past day. According to intelligence reports, two occupiers were killed and another four were wounded," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation said in an update published on Facebook as of 07:00 Kyiv time on December 10, 2018.
Russian occupation forces opened fire from grenade launchers of various types, heavy machine guns and small arms, aiming at the defenders of the towns of Avdiyivka and Krasnohorivka, and the villages of Stanytsia Luhanska, Taramchuk, Pavlopil, Vodiane, and Hnutove, as well as Butivka coal mine.
The enemy also employed 82mm mortars, shelling Ukrainian positions near the villages of Novotoshkivske and Vilniy. In total, the enemy launched 19 mortar shells.
