Russia's hybrid military forces mounted 20 attacks on Ukrainian army positions in Donbas in the past 24 hours, with three Ukrainian soldiers reported as wounded in action.

"Three Ukrainian soldiers were wounded in the past day. According to intelligence reports, one occupier was killed and another six were wounded," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation (JFO) said in an update published on Facebook as of 07:00 Kyiv time on December 25, 2018.

Russian occupation forces opened fire from grenade launchers of various types, heavy machine guns and small arms, attacking the defenders of the villages of Krymske, Novo-Oleksandrivka, Kamianka, Pisky, Taramchuk, Luhanske, Pivdenne, Chermalyk, Hnutove, and Vodiane.

The enemy also employed 120mm and 82mm mortars to attack the defenders of Krymske and Pisky, while those near the villages of Kriakivka, Luhanske and Hnutove came under fire from 82mm mortars.

"Since Tuesday midnight, Russian-led forces haven't attacked the Ukrainian positions yet," the report said.
