Russian-led forces violate ceasefire in Donbas twice since Friday morning
Russia's hybrid military forces have violated the ceasefire in Donbas, eastern Ukraine, twice since Friday morning.
"They attacked our defenders' strongholds twice, using grenade launchers of various systems, large-caliber machine guns," the press center of the Joint Forces Operation said on Facebook in an evening update on Friday, January 18.
The area near the village of Hnutove was under enemy sniper fire.
No Ukrainian army casualties have been reported for the period from 00:00 to 18:00 Kyiv time on Friday.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Russian-led forces mounted 13 attacks on Ukrainian army positions in Donbas on January 17, with one Ukrainian soldier reported as wounded in action.
