Occupation forces of the so-called "Donetsk People's Republic" ("DPR") have captured a Ukrainian military serviceman, Stanislav Panchenko, and on January 21 published a video showing the captive.

As the 58th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade confirmed via Facebook it was their soldier on the video.

"Stanislav Myroslavovych Panchenko is a soldier of the 58th separate motorized infantry brigade. We focus on the fact that, most likely, what he said in the video was a result of psychological or even physical pressure exerted upon the serviceman. This is confirmed by the fact that the video message was published only on the third day after he had gone missing," reads the report.

The Brigade says all reports disseminated by pro-Russian mercenaries are nothing but an element of information warfare.
