Russian-led forces mounted five attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas, eastern Ukraine, in the past 24 hours.
"No Ukrainian army casualties have been reported in the past day. According to intelligence reports, two invaders were killed and another one was wounded," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation (JFO) said in an update on Facebook as of 07:00 Kyiv time on January 29, 2019.
The enemy opened fire from grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns, and small arms at the Ukrainian positions near the town of Maryinka, and the villages of Shyrokyne, Krymske, Travneve, and Novotoshkivske.
"Since Tuesday midnight, Russian-led forces haven't attacked Ukrainian positions yet," the report said.
