Russian proxies in Donbas open fire three times at positions of Joint Forces Feb 10 – report
From day-start to 18:00 on Sunday, February 10, Russian occupation forces in eastern Ukraine's Donbas fired three times at the positions of the Ukrainian troops, according to the Joint Forces' press center.
The militants employed weapons proscribed by the Minsk agreements in one instance.
"In the action area of the Skhid [East] Tactical Grouping, mercenaries fired at positions of the Ukrainian military near the village of Hnutove using 82mm mortars, and near the town of Krasnohorivka – using small arms," reads the JFO HQ report.
In the zone of responsibility of the Pivnich [North] Tactical Grouping, militants fired at the positions of our defenders from heavy machine guns and small arms on the outskirts of Svitlodask, the report says.
There have been no casualties among Ukrainian troops from the start of the day.
Commanders of the units took the necessary measures to suppress the enemy fire.
The enemy's losses are being clarified.
The situation in the area of the Joint Forces Operation remains under control of Ukrainian troops, the report said.
As UNIAN reported earlier, one Ukrainian soldier had gone missing in Donbas warzone after he sustained a concussion.
