Russia-led forces mounted six attacks on the Ukrainian army's positions in Donbas, eastern Ukraine, on Sunday, February 17, proscribed weapons were used in five instances.

Russia's occupation forces used 120mm and 82mm mortars to attack the Ukrainian positions near the village of Lebedynske, while 120mm mortars and weapons installed on an infantry fighting vehicle were used near the village of Pisky, the press center of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) said in an evening update from 00:00 to 18:00 Kyiv time on February 17.

The enemy opened fire from 82mm mortars, anti-tank grenade launchers and small arms near the village of Vodiane, while heavy machine guns and small arms were the village of Pavlopil.

Ukrainian troops stationed near the village of Katerynivka were attacked with the use of 82mm mortars and large-caliber machine guns.

One Ukrainian soldier was wounded in action in the past day, the JFO press center said.

The Ukrainian army fired back, using allowed weapons. There is no information about enemy casualties.
