Russia's hybrid military forces in the past 24 hours mounted 12 attacks on Ukrainian army positions in Donbas, with four Ukrainian soldiers reported as wounded in action.
"Four Ukrainian soldiers were wounded in the past day. According to intelligence reports, nine invaders were killed and another one was captured," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation (JFO) said in an update published on Facebook as of 07:00 Kyiv time on February 19, 2019.
Russian occupation forces opened fire from 120mm and 82mm mortars, anti-tank missile systems, weapons installed on infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers of various types, heavy machine guns, and small arms, attacking the defenders of the town of Maryinka and the villages of Lebedynske, Vodiane, Opytne, Pavlopil, Katerynivka, Novotoshkivske, Travneve, and Krymske.
"Since Tuesday midnight, Russian-led forces have attacked Ukrainian positions three times near the villages of Hnutove and Katerynivka, using 82mm mortars, grenade launchers of various types, heavy machine guns, and small arms," the report said.
