Russia's hybrid military forces mounted 16 attacks on Ukrainian army positions in Donbas in the past 24 hours, with one Ukrainian soldier reported as killed in action and another two as wounded in action.
"One Ukrainian soldier was killed and another two were wounded in the past day. According to intelligence reports, three invaders were killed and another four were wounded," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation said in an update on Facebook as of 07:00 Kyiv time on February 25, 2019.
Russian occupation forces opened aimed fire from 122mm artillery systems, 120mm and 82mm mortars, a ZU-23-2 towed 23mm anti-aircraft twin-barreled autocannon, weapons installed on infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers, heavy machine guns, and small arms to attack the defenders of the town of Krasnohorivka, and the villages of Vodiane, Lebedynske, Pavlopil, Pisky, Novozvanivka, Zolote-4, Katerynivka, Novo-Oleksandrivka, Zolote-1, and Lobacheve.
What is more, at about 05:00 on Sunday, the invaders attacked residential buildings in Zolote and Novo-Oleksandrivka from the temporarily occupied town of Pervomaisk, using 122mm artillery systems and 120mm mortars. In total, 34 shells were launched. Four houses were destroyed as a result of the shelling.
"Since Monday midnight, Russian-led forces have attacked Ukrainian positions near Lebedynske, using 120mm mortars," the report said.
