Ukrainian forces under constant shelling in Shyrokino, says Tymchuk
A militant artillery group is continuing to attack the positions of Ukrainian troops in the area of Shyrokino near the city of Mariupol, according to head of the Information Resistance group and MP Dmytro Tymchuk.
"The artillery group has four units of fire – two howitzers, one multiple rocket launch system, and one self-propelled gun," Tymchuk wrote on Facebook on Monday.
"Enemy tanks have also attempted to attack the positions of Ukrainian troops in this area. Enemy aerial reconnaissance has intensified its activities."
According to Tymchuk, Ukrainian troops continue to hold the front line in the salient in Svitlodarsk and Luhanske.
"The enemy periodically launches strikes on the positions of Ukrainian troops in this area, but the bulk of the forces that were involved in the battle for Debaltseve have been withdrawn for resupply," Tymchuk said.
